APHA teams up with Speedhorse magazine

FORT WORTH, Texas – Effective January 1, 2016, Speedhorse magazine will become the official Paint racing magazine of the American Paint Horse Association. The partnership was formed to provide up-to-date, monthly Paint racing information to the Paint racing industry.
Speedhorse and APHA’s official publication, the Paint Horse Journal, will work in concert to give readers of both magazines information that benefits both the Paint industry as a whole and the horse racing industry specifically. Monthly coverage in Speedhorse will include APHA stakes information, leading lists and more. The Paint Horse Journal will continue to produce Flash, it’s award-winning annual supplement that celebrates Paints excelling in timed events—including racing, barrel racing, roping, shooting and sorting—as well as weekly online news articles about fast Paints at MyFlashyRide.com.

“Our racing breeders and enthusiasts are looking for current information on the sport and horses they love, and we believe this partnership will provide just that,” APHA Director of Racing Karen Utecht said. “We look forward to working with Speedhorse and providing our racing audience this valuable information in a timely manner.”
