AQHA TELEVISION PROGRAMMING GETS WIDER DISTRIBUTION THROUGH NEWCOMCAST, RFD-TV AFFILIATION

America’s Horse, March 6, 2008 – The American Quarter Horse Association’s television programming, “AQHA Presents . . .” on RFD-TV, will be seen by even more households due to a recent agreement between Comcast Cable Communications LLC and RFD-TV LLC. The two have announced a multi-year affiliation and distribution agreement that sets forth the terms and conditions for carriage of RFD-TV on Comcast systems nationwide.

RFD-TV is the nation’s first 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week television network dedicated to serving the needs and interests of rural America. AQHA joined the network in January with its series “AQHA Presents . . .” that airs every Wednesday and Saturday. With RFD-TV’s new Comcast agreement, “AQHA Presents…” will reach even more homes throughout the country.

“AQHA Presents brings valuable, educational and enjoyable programming for the horse enthusiast to the RFD network,” said AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer. “This affiliation will allow that programming to reach more people nationwide and help them witness the American Quarter Horse lifestyle that is enjoyed by millions.”
More viewers can now enjoy AQHA’s combination of entertaining and informative shows with the industry’s top trainers, along with classic episodes of past AQHA television programming and competitions from AQHA and its alliance partners’ championship events. Shows air every Wednesday at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST and again at 11 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST. Encore presentations of each show will air on the following Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. EST/9:30 a.m. PST. Now available in more than 31 million homes, RFD-TV can be seen on satellite systems Dish (Channel 231) and DirectTV (Channel 379), as well as Mediacom, Charter, Suddenlink, Bresnan and Comcast cable systems. For more information on the network, visit www.rfdtv.com.
