Amarillo, Texas, October 10, 2005 – AQHA will honor and commemorate 15 Legacy Award winners in a ceremony October 11 at the American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum in Amarillo, Texas. This celebration marks 50 years of breeding American Quarter Horses for these honorees.

Each year, AQHA recognizes American Quarter Horse breeders who have reached the 50-year milestone of registering at least one foal per year. The Legacy Award winners receive a handcrafted Lisa Perry bronze for their achievements.
