BLOOD-HORSE PUB. ANNOUNCES REDESIGN OF KEENELAND MAGAZINE

Lexington, KY – Blood-Horse Publications is pleased to announce the all-new redesign of Keeneland magazine. The new look takes effect with the Fall 2007 issue.

Keeneland magazine has had a distinctive look and identity since Blood-Horse Publications began publishing the quarterly in 2000. The “new” Keeneland magazine retains aspects of the original design but adds contemporary elements, such as a larger size, to freshen the overall package. Readers and advertisers can be confident that the high standards of writing, photography, and design that have stamped Keeneland magazine remain unchanged.

Creative Director Suzanne Dorman says the redesign is essential to maintain the high quality of Keeneland magazine. “In order to stay ahead of the curve and not be perceived as outdated, we have decided to give Keeneland magazine a redesign. Our main objective is to keep the look fresh and contemporary, yet maintain its elegance and sophistication.”

Keeneland President and CEO Nick Nicholson praised the changes as he addressed key advertisers Monday morning. “The new look you will find in this issue artfully blends into the layout such modern touches as a larger format, more white space, and a new type face without losing the classic lines that give it that ‘Keeneland’ feel.”
