The American Paint Horse Association will reveal Chrome, a quarterly equestrian lifestyle magazine like no other, on June 20. Designed to enrich the lives of horse enthusiasts, Chrome is a large-format, contemporary magazine that celebrates a lifestyle as unique as the American Paint Horse.
Making an already valuable membership even better, Chrome is available exclusively to APHA members. Rich in stunning photography, in-depth profiles and insightful stories, Chrome will be an irreplaceable addition to horse lovers’ homes. Arriving in mailboxes June 20th, the 10” x 12” magazine will be polybagged to ensure extra protection through the mail.
Through its pillars—spirit, attitude, culture and place—Chrome’s topics will deliver a multitude of interesting articles, including: personality and celebrity interviews; horse and dog advice; health, beauty and fitness improvement; connection and relationship tips; fashion trends; style and design advice; art, music and film reviews; small-acreage and home-care ideas and equine-friendly city features.
The debut Summer 2013 issue will explore the upcoming Disney movie “The Lone Ranger,” delving into conversation with the movie’s horse trainers. The home of Lynn Palm and her husband, Cyril Pittion-Rossillon, will be featured, as will the philosophy of natural horsemanship trainer Pat Parelli.
Residents in the United States, Canada and Mexico will receive Chrome for free as part of their APHA membership benefits; international residents will be emailed a free digital version with the option to purchase a print subscription. Paint Horse Connection, now a quarterly digital publication, is available to the public for free at apha.com/publications.
