Leaving private rescue groups to try and save them.
Former racehorse Tiger laid down at nine Monday night and hasn’t been able to get up since.
“He’s very weak from lack of nutrition, and lack of muscle tone, he was starved for an unknown period.”
Kami Earlywine bought Tiger to nurse him back to health after his owner couldn’t feed him anymore.
“Horses are my passion, have always been.”
But after 12 hours of struggling, Earlywine called for help.
The Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection Society has a horse ambulance to get stricken animals off the ground. Read more…
