Elite Barrel Racing Productions created

Some of the very best in barrel racing have come together under the banner of Elite Barrel Racing Productions, LLC, to provide professionally run events that will benefit barrel racers and the industry. Each component brings years of experience to the table and knows what it takes to produce successful events on this level.

Ground gurus and super show pioneers Chuck Dunn and Phil Goostree will provide you with safe ground conditions. Traylor Lenz will serve as traffic controller at the arena gate. T.C. Long is your cruise director for nonstop fun. Sponsor acquisition and development specialist Sheridan Cummings is general manager.

“We were a part of something great in our industry and all of us wanted to see it continue,” says Cummings. “We were fortunate enough to have someone come along who was willing to help us make that happen. We also have some great sponsors to ensure that we have first-rate prizes and much, much more. Our barrel racing dreams are still alive and we hope to provide a professional setting for all to pursue their dreams and turn them into championships.”

Elite Productions is underwritten by a West Texas businessman and barrel horse owner now residing in Athens, Texas. Sponsors include Classic Equine, Martin Saddlery, Oxy-Gen, Corral Boots, Intervet, Cruel Girl, Rockies, Cinch and more.

The production company will host its inaugural event, the Classic Equine Big Cash Getaway, May 14-16, in the Heart O’ Texas Complex Pavilion in Waco, Texas. Limited to 1,200 entries, the race features a $107,000 cash and prize payoff with $75,000 of that total GUARANTEED CASH!
