Loyal (WQOW) — An Amish farmer who claims registering his livestock violates his religious beliefs could be headed back to court.
Emanuel Miller of loyal was charged with failing to obey the state’s livestock registration law in 2008.
Recently, that charge was dismissed. The judge said the state failed to prove its need to protect food safety and animal health could not be achieved by coming up with something less restrictive. Read more…
