Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy and Kentucky Children’s Hospital to Benefit at 2nd Annual Nags, Bags and Rags Gala

LEXINGTON, KY — Kentucky Children’s Hospital has been named a beneficiary of the Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy Ladies Guild’s second annual *Nags, Bags and Rags Dinner Gala and Auction* to be held the evening of Friday, October 19, at the Hyatt in Lexington, KY.

“With the new building project underway, choosing Kentucky Children’s Hospital as a beneficiary was an easy decision for the Board of Directors of BGFC,” said event chair and Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy Executive Director,, Mary Lee-Butte. “So many Kentucky families are helped by these two organizations. We share a profound commitment to serving spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of Kentucky’s children and their families.” Farm owner and champion of childrens’ causes, Anita Madden, again agreed to serve as Honorary Chair.

For the fashion show at the heart of* Nags, Bags and Rags*, Dillard’s will outfit notables of the turf modeling an array of attire. Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry and Police Chief Anthany Beatty will serve as celebrity bid spotters. Special guests will also include Lexington’s Top Cop Brian Jared, Miss Kentucky Kaitlynne Postel, redio host Jack Pattie, Pat and Sheila Day, Maggi Moss, Anita and Graham Motion along with all of the men and women serving as models. Dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a raffle complement what promises to be a truly memorable evening. Auction items will include a Barbaro/Edgar Prado keepsake collection; luxury vacations to Las Vegas, Miami, and the 2008 Breeders’ Cup; spa packages and other unique experiences; fine furniture, jewelry, apparel and leather goods; and numerous items donated by supporters across the U.S.
