Filly with Delta Flyer and Peppy San Badger bloodlines offered by American Junior Paint Horse Association

FORT WORTH, Texas— Don’t miss your chance to win a beautiful sorrel tobiano filly to be given away by the American Junior Paint Horse Association (AjPHA). Wynnin Gay Bar, who has both Delta Flyer and Peppy San Badger in her pedigree, will be given away July 7, the final night of the World Championship Paint Horse Show in Fort Worth, Texas.

For your chance to win this spectacular filly, you can make a $10 donation to AjPHA, which can be made on-line at ajpha.com . Tickets can also be purchased from an APHA regional club or at the World Show next summer. All proceeds from ticket sales support AjPHA’s activities and scholarship program.

Wynnin Gay Bar has been donated by Floyd and Maryann Moore. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Moores, owners of 6-J Paint Horses in Huntsville, Texas, have donated a filly to benefit AjPHA. The filly was sired by Wynnin Getsyathere and is out of Gay Bar Flyer.

Wynnin Getsyathere, the sire, is a 12-year-old sorrel tobiano who has earned 55 APHA points in reining and was the 2001 APHA world champion in Senior reining.

This filly is also a descendant of the acclaimed stallion Delta Flyer, who was the foundation of the Moores’ Paint performance horse program. Wynnin Gay Bar has a top-notch pedigree that includes NCHA Super Stakes open semi-finalist Delta Getsya There on her sire’s side and 1986 NCHA Super Stakes Open Champion Delta Flyer in her dam’s pedigree. Delta Flyer is the only Paint Horse with both sire and dam in the NCHA Hall of Fame. Wynnin Gay Bar also has NCHA Hall of Fame stallion, Peppy San Badger, on both sides of her pedigree.

“The way this filly is bred, she should make someone a great horse,” Moore said.

“We are so grateful for the Moore’s generosity and dedication to the youth and scholarship programs,” said Betsy Francis, APHA’s director of youth activities. “Floyd and Maryann have a great breeding program with impeccable bloodlines, and we are so excited to be a part of the Delta legacy.”
