
America’s Horse, April 20, 2009 –Aboard her American Quarter Horse stallion, El Costa Prom – the winningest horse in the sport of mounted shooting – Annie Bianco Ellett will ride into QuarterFest: A Celebration of the American Quarter Horse with guns ablazin’, May 1-3 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association world champion cowgirl and Single Action Shooting Society overall world champion is perhaps the most recognized person in all of cowboy mounted shooting and has helped revolutionize the sport. The first and only woman in mounted shooting to win a world title, Annie travels the country competing and offering shooting seminars. Annie’s shooting and riding skills have been featured on ESPN, Outdoor Life Network, TNN and Fox Sports Television. The official shooting instructor on CMT’s “Cowboy U,” Annie is also one of the three judges on CMT’s “America’s Top Cowboy.”
An AQHA life member, Annie is currently the national spokeswoman for CMSA, a Wrangler endorsee and a member of the prestigious Cimarron Firearms team of world champions.
