Idaho legislators are debating a bill that would regulate raw milk and allow for the creation of “cow shares” that would allow for the sale of raw milk from a certain number of animals. “Rather than driving raw milk underground by getting creative, we wanted to bring it out in the open and provide greater public health out there,” said Marv Patten, the Idaho State Department of Agriculture’s dairy bureau chief.
