Kentucky Summer Shows next up on extensive coverage agenda

Wellington, FL – July 15, 2010 — The summer tour on PhelpsSports.com, the nation’s most popular and dynamic equestrian news website, continues with on-going coverage from two locations, Traverse City, Michigan, for the month-long Horse Shows by the Bay festival, and north of the border in Blainville, Quebec, Canada for the Classique Internationale De Blainville (Jumping Blainville) for one week.
The second week of Jumping Blainville is currently underway and continues through July 18, 2010. The event is held at the renowned Equestrian Park of Blainville and features $295,000 in total prizes, including the all important $60,000 World Cup Qualifier as this year’s extravaganza draws to a close.
Meanwhile, at Flintfields Horse Park, in Williamsburg, Michigan, Horse Shows by the Bay is well underway as well. Dressage kicked off the month long affair last week, and now the highly popular Hunter-Jumper shows are in gear as well, drawing over fifteen hundred horses to this gorgeous resort area, just 10 miles east of Traverse City, Michigan. Over $400,000 in total prize money will have been awarded once the record books have been written on this year’s edition.
