LEXINGTON, KY. — Wanted: veterinarians for large animals. Must enjoy long drives through beautiful countryside and long talks with colorful farmers. Strong stomachs, big hearts required.
This is the life of Dr. Roger Wonder lich, the life of an endangered species: the industrious farm vet.

“We’re kind of a dying breed,” Wonderlich said. “We hope we don’t go extinct. We hope they revive us.”
