REINING IN TONIGHT’S WORLD FORECAST

The American Quarter Horse Journal, November 29, 2007 – The world will focus on Oklahoma City tonight for the 2007 FEI World Reining Masters. The world’s best 18 reiners will slide into the history books at this $100,000-added event, which will begin at 7 p.m. CST at the Oklahoma State Fair Park.

Results from the 2007 FEI World Reining Masters will be available on www.aqha.com at the conclusion of tonight’s competition courtesy of The American Quarter Horse Journal.

This annual competition began in 2004 and finds the best individual reiner in the world. According to a point system, the top rider in each National Federation qualifies to compete in the World Reining Masters.

The United States, Canada, Italy, Germany and Switzerland are allowed to send their top two riders to compete in the open division only. These five countries were finalists at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany. Other countries’ National Federations can send one rider, and these riders are eligible to compete in the open and restricted divisions.

Reining is the only western discipline to be recognized by the FEI. The FEI has 135 affiliated National Federations around the world. For more information, visit www.horsesport.org .

7. *United States**:* Gabe Hutchins on Juiced Up Doc
8. *Italy**:* Dario Carmignani on Skeets Dun
9. *Belgium**:* Bernard Fonck on Don Quixote Escapes
10. *Great Britain**:* Mark How on Moon Stone Chex
11. *The Netherlands:* Hubertus Heule on Bonitas Dun Smoke
12. *Germany**:* Nico Hoermann on Setting Off Sparks
13. *Israel**:* Ashir Kol on Mcmega Mac
14. *Germany**:* Grischa Ludwig on Hollywood Yankee Kid
