Save on Horse Registration Fees by December 31

Fee increases approved by the American Paint Horse Association Executive Committee and effective January 1, 2013, mean American Paint Horse owners can save money by submitting horse registration applications by December 31, 2012. To take advantage of the lower 2012 registration fees, owners must submit the appropriate paperwork to be postmarked by December 31.

Download a registration application at press.apha.com/pdfs/registration/regapp.pdf. Completed registration applications must be accompanied by at least four clear, color, close photographs of the horse. These photographs must include each side and the front and rear views. Please do not trim or mark on the photographs. If the horse is freeze–branded, a photo of brand must accompany application. To learn more about the APHA registration process—including registration eligibility—visit apha.com/forms/registration-forms.

Registration applications may be submitted:
· Online at aphaonline.org
· By email to customerservice@apha.com
· By fax to (817) 834-3152. (Photos must be mailed or emailed.)
· Mailed to: American Paint Horse Association
Attention: Registration Department
P.O. Box 961023
Fort Worth, TX 76161

For specific fee increases, see the 2013 fee schedule below or in the 2013 Official APHA Rule Book, available at apha.com/forms/rule-books before the end of the year. To reference 2012 registration fees, download the 2012 Official APHA Rule Book at press.apha.com/pdfs/rulebooks/2012Rulebook.pdf.

Horse registration applications submitted by members online will not be subject to the 2013 fee increases; the increases only apply to emailed, faxed and mailed registration applications. To register a horse online, log onto aphaonline.org and select “Foal Registration” from the drop-down bar at the right.
