Suspected horse slaughter in Florida county is confirmed by police

Where there’s blood, there’s probably a dead body nearby and for Miami-Dade horse owners, that’s bad news.

Police have confirmed that a bloody van found Tuesday is the result of a horse slaughtered by black market poachers. On Wednesday, police located the horse carcass that had it’s meat stripped and placed in coolers that were likely going to be sold illegal equine diners. Read More…
