Texas equine dentistry bill awaits governors signature

Texas legislators have approved a bill that would permit licensed equine dentists to provide teeth-floating services in the presence of a licensed veterinarian. Under the measure, which is headed to Gov. Rick Perry for his signature, nonveterinarian tooth floaters would need to meet licensing and training requirements to become a licensed equine dental provider in the state. Read More...
