VIEW VIDEO SNEAK PREVIEW OF AMERICA’S HORSE IN ART

America’s Horse, August 8, 2008 – The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum is preparing for what promises to be an impressive showing of original western works of art showcasing the American Quarter Horse. “America’s Horse in Art…the Horse that Settled the West” takes place August 14 through November 14 in the Scharbauer Gallery of the Hall of Fame.

In an effort to bring the public a glimpse of these impressive works, a special video sneak preview is now available athttp://www.aqha.com/foundation/halloffame/AHIA/index.html. The full online show catalog will be available on the Web site August 14 at 9 a.m. CST, with online sales beginning at 9 a.m. CST on August 15.

Most of the pieces were created specifically for this event and have never before been seen by the public. All art will be for sale on a first-come, first served basis. Sale prices will range from $1,000 to more than $25,000 and will offer something for casual enthusiasts to avid collectors of rare and unique western art.

Pieces include various types of paintings, bronzes and sketches that can be purchased in person or online. To purchase online, please call (806) 376-5181 or e-mailartshow@aqha.com. Online sales begin August 15, but purchased artwork will remain on exhibit through November 14.
