September 9, 2011 – Western Bloodstock HeadQuarters Sale in Amarillo, Texas held during the 16th annual Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo, is fast approaching.
The sale will be offering multiple sale sessions including seasoned cutting, ranch, working cow, roping, and reining horses of all ages as well as performance yearlings, 2- and 3-year-old performance prospects, performance broodmares and stallions. On Thursday, November 10th, there will be a demonstration of all performance and prospect horses, the first sale session will begin on the morning of Friday, November 11th, and will run through Saturday, November 12th, at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo, Texas.
“We are very pleased with the number of quality consignments to this sale; one of which is 2-time AQHA World Champion Versatility Ranch Horse and AQHA Select World Champion Working Cow Horse, Smart Whiskey Doc.” said Western Bloodstock partner Jim Ware whose company also produces three annual sales in Fort Worth for the National Cutting Horse Association.
Ware added, “The HeadQuarters sale will also be including a special Four Sixes Ranch Broodmare Session, this ranch has never had a public offering like this before. These are all prime mares, all bred to Four Sixes reference sires. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!”
