Wisconsin legislators hold hearing on proposed raw-milk bill

A representative of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Dairy Committee testified recently against a bill allowing the direct sale of raw milk to consumers, at a state legislative hearing. “If a person becomes ill from drinking raw milk, it is not only unpasteurized milk that gets a bad image, but all milk and dairy products,” he said.
