WRANGLER HEARTLAND TOUR 2008 – CHANGE OF VENUE – $1,000 ADDED FUTURITY AND HORSE SALE AT ADA – POWER BARRELS AND BBR DOUBLE QUALIFIER AT CLARKSVILLE, AR

COLCORD, OK AUG 4, 2008
Many exciting things are in store with the Wrangler Heartland Tour’s second half of 2008, beginning with Clarksville, AR Dodge Rodeo Race.  This will be the first Power Barrels Race http://www.powerbarrels.com/ and is now a BBR Double Qualifier.  This would allow all BBR members that live in Arkansas a chance to qualify for the BBR Finals in only two Heartland Tour weekends.  Everyone will be able to get six qualifiers at the Foothills Arena in September and then two more at the Annual Thanksgiving Race at Hurley’s both in Clarksville, AR, a relatively centrally located city in the state.

The next Lucas Metal Race begins the Fall Trailer Depot Run at Victory Farms in Ada, OK and will be add an additional $1,000 for a futurity sidepot.  Saturday and Sunday will each have an additional $500 Added each day in a futurity sidepot.  Not only is there a futurity sidepot at Ada, but also there will be a production sale on Saturday creating a change for the normal start time on Saturday to 2pm.  This race is also the second race that is a Power Barrels Race http://www.powerbarrels.com/ .

The Heart of Oklahoma Trailer Depot Race in Shawnee, OK is also on the list of Power Barrels Races http://www.powerbarrels.com/ allowing barrel racers to compete in nationwide competition.

The final race of the Trailer Depot Fall Run is the Cavender’s Western Outfitter’s Race that has had a change of venue from the Tulsa Expo to Victory Farms in Ada, OK.  We regret making the change, but our dates that we have had for years have been taken away so we felt that it would be best to stay in Oklahoma and move the last race of this series to Victory Farms in Ada for the 2008 season.  This race is also one to be added to Power Barrels.

Now the final race of the year will also be a Power Barrels Race http://www.powerbarrels.com/ .  This is the annual race at Hurley’s in Clarksville, AR that is sponsored with product from Purina, Cowboy Magic and Mrs. Pastures Horse Cookies.
