DO YOU WORK YOUR HORSES IN DEEP SAND?

DO YOU WORK YOUR HORSES IN DEEP SAND AROUND THE BARRELS? I MEAN AFTER YOU WORK 2 OR 3 IT LOOKS LIKE A VALLEY AROUND THE BARRELS. I HAVE MY HORSES AT A TRAINER AND I AM HAVING A LOT OF LEG PROBLEMS GOING TO AND FROM THE VETS . THE VET SAID I NEEDED TO STEP BACK AND REALLY LOOK AT THE PICTURE SOMETHING IS WRONG… REAL WRONG… THE SHOEING IS VERY GOOD (VET SAID) I TOLD HIM I WAS WORRIED ABOUT WHERE SHE WAS WORKING THESE YOUNG HORSES. SHE RIDES EVERYDAY. HE FELT LIKE THE DEEP SAND IS THE CULPRIT AND THE FACT THE TRAINER IS POUNDING ON THEM EVERY DAY.. THE VET SAID EVENTUALLY SOMETHING HAS GOT TO GIVE. I NOW HAVE A SPLIT ON THE LEFT FRONT OF MY 3YR —HOPE TO FUTURITY COLT. COULD THE GROUND CAUSE THIS??? COMMENT TRAINER SAID: WHEN I WENT TO SEE THE COLT IT HAPPEN 4 WEEKS AGO…. SHE HAD NOT SAID ANYTHING TO ME…. NOW OH BY THE WAY…. SHE KNEW I WOULD SEE IT. THE LAST I SPOKE WITH HER SHE SAID HE WASN’T WORKING GOOD I ASKED HER WAS HE HURTING SOMEWHERE HER COMMENT HE IS JUST LAZY. THIS IS NICE COLT NOTHING LAZY ABOUT HIM…. WAS HE TRYING TO TELL HER?? AND SHE DIDN’T HEED THE WARNING. AND NOW I HAVE A SPLINT?Huh I NEED YOUR HELP??? I AM NOT TRYING TO PUT BLAME BUT I TRULY CAN NOT AFFORD THIS?Huh I LIKE THE TRAINER SHE IS DEDICATED AND GOOD PERSON… SHE WOULD HELP ANYONE.. VERY GOOD HEARTED.
PLEASE HELP???

I try to NOT work my young horses – or any horse for that matter – in bad ground, be it too deep, slick, too hard, etc. We water and work our ground daily so that the footing stays as safe and comfortable as possible. If you are unhappy with the job your trainer is doing, then maybe it’s time to find another trainer.
